of falling water", because even in icy temperatures, ice climbers' hearts beat faster.
In summer, the Malta Valley offers almost everything for a nature-loving vacation. Along the R9 cycle path, you can enjoy the Maltatal in all its splendor by bike or on a running excursion. For
the brave, there are even gorges with waterfalls that invite you to go canyoning or simply recharge your batteries. The Millstättersee lake or the outdoor pool with slide in Gmünd can be reached
in a short time by car or public transport.
Excursion destinations such as the Kölnbreinsperre dam, numerous highlights in the artist town of Gmünd and the surrounding area round off the vacation for the whole family. Enjoy the valleys and
mountains, the forests and lakes, rivers and streams and fortify yourself with a snack in a tavern, cheese noodles in a good inn or fine dining in one of the local restaurants.
